We have the momentum – let’s keep it going

April 2, 2025

Yesterday was a good day for Democrats and democracy.

Liberal Judge Susan Crawford decisively won her Wisconsin Supreme Court race – a clear rejection of Trump’s agenda and Musk’s attempt to buy the election. JDCA is proud to have played a role in this victory. Thank you to the hundreds of JDCA volunteers who joined us to make 30,000 direct voter contacts in the state. It made a difference.

We’re also proud to stand with Senator Cory Booker, who yesterday broke the record for the longest filibuster in history by speaking for more than 25 hours about the importance of defending our democracy and donned a hostage pin for much of his impassioned marathon speech. We are inspired by his commitment, candor, and resolve, and agree that “the power of the people is greater than the people in power.”

And we’re proud to stand with House Democrats who successfully stalled the House’s ability to pass anti-voting legislation and demanded that new parents be allowed to vote by proxy in Congress, causing Speaker Johnson to cancel votes.

Momentum is on the side of Democrats and democracy, but we must keep fighting in order to keep winning.

Donate to JDCA today so we can continue leading the Jewish opposition to Donald Trump and Elon Musk.

JDCA has been fighting against Donald Trump’s attacks from the moment he took office, and yesterday was a stunning rebuke of Trump and Musk’s authoritarian power grab.

We’re energized, we’re organized, we’re advocating, and we’re not backing down – especially not when Donald Trump willfully puts our communities in danger by freezing security funding for synagogues, Jewish community centers, and Jewish schools, or when he cuts half the staff and regional offices in the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights, which specifically investigates and fights antisemitism.

Your donation today will help JDCA remain on the front line of the fight against Trump and the Republicans in Congress who want to rubber-stamp his extreme agenda.

Join the millions of Americans standing up to Trump – make a donation to JDCA today.

Thank you,
